Antes de Instalar tu Mapa, Prepara lo siguiente: Mapsource ya debe estar instalado en tu computadora y actualizado a la última versión para poder llevar a cabo el proceso de instalación. SI YA SE TIENE MAPSOURCE INSTALADO EN LA PC Es necesario actualizarlo. Puedes descargar la actualización a la última versión en este enlace: http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=209 aparecerá la siguiente pantalla
selecciona "Download" y "Guardar" como se ve en esta imagen
Selecciona un lugar en tu PC para guardarlo. Recomendamos usar el Escritorio para facilitar su localización. Una vez descargado, localiza el archivo y asegurándote de que Mapsource no está abierto haz doble click para que se ejecute la actualización. Sigue las instrucciones del instalador.
SI NO TIENES MAPSOURCE Puedes obtenerlo siguiendo estos pasos 1. Descarga e instala el software llamado "GARMIN TRAINING CENTER" que es una versión simple de Mapsource. de este enlace http://www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=999-99999-04 aparecerá esta página
y donde debes seleccionar la opción que dice: Cuando aparezca la siguiente pantalla, selecciona "Guardar" así como una ubicación en tu PC donde quedará el archivo. Sugerimos guardar en el Escritorio de Windows para tener un fácil acceso al archivo.
Una vez terminada la instalación cierra el programa Training Center 2. Instala la última actualización de Mapsource que puedes descargar de este enlace http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=209 y aparecerá esta pantalla

Instalando el mapa 1. Descarga Mexico GPS Atlas del enlace que recibiste de Servicio a Clientes de BiciMapas o ten a la mano el CD que contiene el mapa. 2. Ten a la mano el código de activación que recibiste de Servicio a Clientes de BiciMapas 3. Asegúrate de que Mapsource está cerrado 4. Ve al folder donde guardaste la descarga del mapa o al drive donde está instalado el CD y haz doble click en el archivo MexicoGPSAtlas2008V311.exe 5. Sigue las instrucciones del instalador
6. Una vez que el Instalador finalice, ciérralo. 7. Inicia Mapsource 8. En la esquina superior izquierda, selecciona en el menú desplegable el mapa instalado.
Desbloqueando el mapa con Versiones Mapsource 6.14.1 y posteriores (Para versiones 6.13.7 y anteriores ver más abajo) 1. En la pantalla principal de Mapsource selecciona Utilidades y Gestionar Mapas
2. Selecciona la pestaña con "Regiones de Desbloqueo• y presiona Agregar
3. En la ventana que aparece introduce el código de desbloqueo y presiona OK
4. El mapa ha quedado desbloqueado . Cierra la ventana de Gestionar Mapas.
Desbloqueando el mapa con Mapsource Versiones 6.13.7 y anteriores 1. El asistente para desbloquear mapas deberá aparecer automáticamente. De lo contrario selecciona Utilidades/Desbloquear Mapas
2. Oprime "Siguiente". Asegúrate que la opción superior esté seleccionada. Oprime "Siguiente"
3. En esta pantalla, nuevamente asegúrate de seleccionar la opción superior.
4. En la siguiente pantalla, copia el código de activación que recibiste de BiciMapas y pégalo en el renglón superior. Oprime "Siguiente".
5. Contesta que No cuando se te pregunte si deseas registrarte en Garmin.
6. Confirma que no te registrarás seleccionando SI
7. Selecciona "He terminado" y finalizar
8. El mapa ha quedado desbloqueado y puedes ver el detalle de la zona que hayas adquirido.
Enviando los mapas al GPS 1. Selecciona Mexico GPS Atlas 2008 en el menú Desplegable de la parte superior izquierda.
2. Ve al menú Ver y selecciona la opción Alejar Región, para asegurarte de que se ve el mapa completo en la pantalla.
3. Selecciona la Herramienta de Mapa
4. Para instalar el mapa completo, arrastra un cuadro que lo abarque todo. Estos se tornarán rosas con un marco amarillo.
5. Para subir una región específica, selecciona los mosaicos que correspondan
6. Conecta el GPS a la PC y enciéndelo 7. Selecciona "Enviar a Dispositivo". En la ventana deberás ver tu modelo de GPS. La opción de Mapas debe estar seleccionada
8. En el caso de NUVI, podrás seleccionar que el mapa se envíe a la tarjeta en vez de la memoria principal. La opción de Mapas debe estar seleccionada.
9. Oprime Enviar. El proceso tomará entre 10 y 20 minutos.

When the window shown below appears, selec "Save" and a location within your PC to store the file. We recommend to use the Windows desktop to ease finding the file.
Once it is stored in your PC. find and double click on it to start the installation process. Follow the instructions exactly as indicated. Once the installation is finished close the Training Center program. 2. Install the latest Mapsource update that you may download from http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=209 The following screen will show

Installing the Map 1. Download the Mexico GPS Atlas form the link you received from BiciMapas' Customer Service or have your CD ready. 2. Get the unlock key you received from BiciMapas' Customer Service and have it handy. 3. Make sure Mapsource is closed. 4. Go to the folder where you save the Map download or to the drive where the CD has been inserted. Double click the file MexicoGPSAtlas2008V311.exe 5. Follow the installer instructions
6. Once the installation is finished, close the installer. 7. Run Mapsource 8. On the top left, select the Map just installed from the drop down menu. Note: The images are from the Spanish Version of Mapsource but the tools and menu locations are the same in the English version
Unlocking the Map with Mapsource Version 6.14.1
1. In the main Mapsource screen select “Utilities” and Manage Maps (first option under Utilities)
2. A window with 2 tabs will show. Select the second tab named Unlock Regions and press the “Add” button
3. In the window that shows, enter the unlock key we provided and click OK
The Map is unlocked and ready to use. Close the Manage Maps window. Unlocking the map with Mapsource versions 6.13.7 and previous 1. The unlock wizzard shall start automatically. If not, go to Utilities/Unlock Maps
2. Press the "Next". Make sure that the top most option is selected. Press "Next".
3. In this screen make sure that the top most option is selected as well.
4. In this screen, copy the unlock key provided by BiciMpas and paste it in the upper line. Press "Next"
5. Answer NO when prompted to register in Garmin.
6. Confirm that you will not register by selecting YES
7. Select "I am done" and "End"
8. The map has been unlocked and you should see the full detail for the region purchased.
Sending the Map to the GPS 1. Select Mexico GPS Atlas 2008 in the drop down menu of the top left side of the Mapsource screen.
2. Go to the View menu and select Zoom Out Region. This will assure you can see the full map.
3. Select the Map Tool
4. To load the full map, drag a rectangle that selects all of it. The tiles to be uploaded will turn pink with a yellow border.
5.To upload a specific region, select those tiles matching the region you purchased.
6. Connect the GPS to the PC and turn it on 7. Select "Send to Device". In the Window you shall see your device model. The Maps option shall be selected.
8. In the case of a NUVI, you will have the choice to send the map to the card instead of the main memory. The Maps option shall be selected.
9. Press "Send". The process will take form 10 to 20 minutes.
